County Web Sites and Web Hosting

CIRA has developed a free, standard web site for counties that are CIRA members. If we are hosting your domain name, we will also host your county-designed standard web site for free. Check out the CIRA created web sites here.

In order to take advantage of the free web hosting and content management program, your Commissioners Court must approve the CIRA Web Services Agreement. If you wish for CIRA to maintain your website for you, you may select the optional for-fee service.

Our Suggested Information for County Web Sites and County Web Site Posting Requirements (updated as of 8/2011) will assist you in collecting information for your website.

CIRA designed web sites include a content management program that allows counties to take control of their websites without the need for extensive training or technical skills. In order to use the content management program, you will need to contact  CIRA, at 1-800-456-5974 or by e-mail for a user name and password. You may download a copy of the Quick Start Guide to Editing, which will get you started on posting public notices and making minor changes to your CIRA designed website.
